Narayan Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) got the approval to start the MBBS course from 2008-09 academic year. After the Medical Council of India (MCI) recommendation, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare approved the MBBS program for 100 seats, which has been now increased to 150 Seats from the year 2018 after recommendation by the Medical Council of India (MCI) to the Central Government. NMCH will always strive to scale new parameters in the field of health education and research. The beginning has been made over 25 acres of land that houses the Medical College building and a 650 bedded hospital that offers the best medical care and attention to each category of patients and provides world-class healthcare services by experienced doctors and health professionals.
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is a 5.5 years professional course for which the students are awarded degrees in medicine and surgery upon successful completion of the course. The course aims to impart quality education and training to students to help contribute to the growing health and medicine sector. The course is regulated by the Medical Council of India and is spanned for four and a half years divided into semesters, followed by a compulsory internship for a year.
Eligibility: The minimum eligibility for the course is 10+2 with the subjects- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Course Duration: 4.5+1=5.5 years.
Admission Process: Through NEET
